I have an EXTREMELY destructive Boston Terrier. She loves playing with her toys, but she loves destroying them even more. "Chicken" was her Christmas present and she loved him. She did pull his eyes off right away, fortunately she didn't swallow them, but I was excited that she couldn't immediately shred him. Then she found his weak spot. She managed to grab hold of the tag and tore the seam, and now she just plays with Chicken's torn up husk. He lasted 3 days, which was longer than any other stuffed animal. You are going to read this review and think "my dog will be different" just as I did reading some of the poor reviews. If you feel you must still purchase this stuffed toy after reading my review please find one by this company that is on sale, do NOT pay full price. She had the trim chewed off, a wing off, the squeakers out within 15 min and I am not exaggerating. There was stuffing EVERYWHERE. Was it kind of amusing? Yes. Was I disappointed in the "chew guard" technology? Absolutely. Be warned! If your dog destroys stuffed animals this one will be no different!!
